26 Feb New Podcast – Donna French @ Rushden Lakes
If you’ve travelled along the A45 in recent years – you’ve likely driven past the Rushden Lakes development that opened a couple of summers ago. Its a large shopping and entertainment destination built around the outside of a beautiful lake.
The development plays home to some 90 businesses – including a number of the biggest names on the high street. In addition though, the estate also plays home to a number of local independent businesses who have flourished onsite such as AJ Cycles and Bewitched Coffee.
Of late – the development has also played home to the new Made in Northamptonshire / Recovery Through Enterprise retail unit – a fantastic new space that has not only played host to our Fast Track Job Match program, but also showcased dozens of local Food & Drink producers on its shelves as well.
Today on the podcast, we meet with Donna French – the Centre Manager at the developent – for a chat about some of the issues encountered by the businesses onsite this last year, discuss how they all came together to work through a challenging year, and her plans to help the development and its tenants bounce back through 2021.
